In Ohio, there is the Dissolution of Marriage. This is sometimes referred to as Ohio no fault divorce, because the parties do not talk about any grounds or fault but merely say that they are incompatible in their marriage.
- In this procedure both husband and wife must attend the final dissolution of marriage hearing.
- Both say to the Court that they are unable to resolve their differences and that they wish that their marriage be dissolved.
- The final hearing is set a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 90 days from the date of the filing of the case.
- The terms of the dissolution of marriage are set out in a Separation Agreement which is agreed to by husband and wife.
